Cucinare coi bambini i biscotti è sicuramente una delle attività più praticate in tutte le case e in tutte le scuole. Ed è davvero un bene perchè permette di esercitare una vastissima gamma di abilità nel bambino piccolo, oltre a dargli grande soddisfazione. Come per tutte le attività di questo genere, ma direi soprattutto per cucinare coi bambini , la preparazione dell’ambiente è fondamentale, e tutto deve essere predisposto in modo tale da garantire al bambino anche piccolo la massima autonomia possibile.

Fare i biscotti offre il pretesto per esercitarsi con travasi misurati (nel nostro caso sulla bilancia):

Per questi biscotti ho pensato di offrire comunque i classici stampini, che però so che presto stancano… in effetti non sono uno strumento particolarmente artistico e creativo. Abbiamo così diviso la pasta in due, e in una abbiamo aggiunto del cacao

Mentre terminavo la preparazione della pasta scura, la bimba si è dedicata liberamente a tutta una serie di esperimenti con una parte della pasta chiara (compresi, appunto, gli stampini):

poi abbiamo steso le due paste, le abbiamo sovrapposte ed arrotolate, e la bimba ha affettato i rotoli:

mentre faceva un ottimo esercizio col coltello, era molto contenta dei suoi biscotti che uscivano a sorpresa dal rotolo, e non ce n’era uno uguale all’altro:

For these cookies I thought of offering the classic molds however, But they soon get bored children … in fact
they are not a tool particularly artistic and creative. We have so divided the dough into two, and in one we added the cocoa:

While I finished the preparation of the dark paste, the child has devoted freely to a whole series of experiments with a part of the clear paste (including, precisely, the molds):

Then we stretched the two preparations, we have overlapped and rolled, and the child has sliced the roll:

while doing a good exercise with a knife, she was very glad of her cookies that came surprisingly from the roll, and there was not one equal to another:
