DIY Montessori metal insets – tutorial to build them on their own and with little expense.
The original material is constituted by two wooden boards on a slope, on each of which are placed five metal square frames, of pink color..
In each of the frames is inserted a blue geometric figure.
The figures are similar to those of geometric cabinet, and also equipped with a small pin for the taking with three fingers.
The Montessori metal insets are a material used in Montessori schools for pre-writing exercises.

I have prepared the material, once readyin this way: the ten frames are on display on a shelf next to each other, so that the child can have a full view.
The frames are each on a square plate, which also contains an assortment of sheets already cut to the same size of the frames.
The child chooses the frame that he wants and puts it on the tray along with pencils.
