Vitamin C, iodine tincture and hydrogen peroxide

3 clear plastic cups , a 1000 mg Vitamin C tablet , tincture of iodine (2%), hydrogen peroxide (3%) , liquid laundry starch (or corn starch or potato starch)
Cosa fare:
Crush the vitamin C tablets by putting them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin, trying to obtain a powder as fine as possible. Put all the powder in a cup and add 60 ml of warm water. Stir for 30 seconds. Label the cup as “LIQUID 1”.
Put 1 teaspoon of LIQUID 1 in a second cup and add to it 60 ml of warm water and 1 teaspoon of iodine. Label the cup as “LIQUID 2”.
In a third cup mix 2 ml of warm water, 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 teaspoon of liquid starch. Labeled “LIQUID 3”.
Now begins the actual experiment: decant the contents of the cup 2 into the cup 3, and repeat the transfer a couple of times .. Then place the container on the tray and observe in a few seconds the transparent liquid become dark blue.
